I like coffee. It’s become my hobby. It all started, innocently enough, with a mocha from Starbucks. Then, I realized that coffee is so much more than syrup and whipped cream. I drink most of my coffee from home these days. I order unroasted beans off the internet and roast them weekly to always have fresh coffee at hand. I have good equipment: A Rancilio Rocky grinder and a Rancilio Silvia espresso machine.
A while ago, I discovered the pure, unadulterated joy that is the cappuccino. When properly made, nothing else can touch it. Even writing about it makes me want to drink one. Let me tell you, nothing is better than waking up on a Saturday, making a fresh cappuccino, and eating a nice pastry while reading the paper or doing a crossword.
